He found a shady peach tree.
Pigsy brought a pillow.
“Soft as a cloud!”
Then his tummy went
RUMBLE.
“A snack first,” said Wukong.
Munch, munch.
Pigsy’s tummy grew quiet.
Sandy waved a leaf fan.
A leaf tickled Wukong’s nose.
“Ah… ah… ACHOO!”
A little bird sang a song.
“TWEET! TWEET!”
Wukong sat up.
“A little softer, please!”
Pigsy chewed softly.
Sandy fanned slowly.
The bird sang, “Twee…
twee…”
Wukong smiled.
Wukong blew one tiny puff.
A little cloud curled around
his feet.
“Just right,” he whispered.
Soon, his friends were sleepy
too.
Pigsy snored. “Snrrr…”
Wukong gave one last giggle.
Under the peach tree,
everyone slept.
The leaves went hush.
The clouds drifted by.
Even heroes need a nap.
