This site is a personal portfolio and blog run by Peihong Guo. It has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no newsletter. This page explains what data is collected when you visit, who it is shared with, and how to opt out.
What I collect
I use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage: which pages are read, roughly how long people stay, which country and device type requests come from, and how visitors arrived. This is aggregate traffic analysis, not personal profiling. GA4 does not record full IP addresses, and I do not attempt to re-identify individual visitors.
I do not run advertising on this site, and I do not sell or share personal information for money.

Third-party services
Some pages load resources from other providers. When they do, your browser sends them standard request data — typically your IP address, user agent and the referring page. Their own privacy policies apply.

Comments
Comments on blog posts are hosted by Disqus. When you post a comment, Disqus collects your comment content, account details and the IP address associated with your submission. I can delete comments on request, but retention and data handling for comments are governed by Disqus.
Your choices and rights

google-analytics.comandgoogletagmanager.comwith your content blocker. Blocking these domains does not break any feature of this site. - EEA, UK and Switzerland: under the GDPR and UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data I hold about you. Because the site stores nothing about you beyond analytics identifiers, deletion is usually as simple as clearing your browser data.
- US state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA and similar): I do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it, and no "Do Not Sell or Share" request is required. You may still ask me not to process it, and I will stop.
If advertising is added later
If display advertising is ever enabled on this site, ad partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing, and a consent prompt will be shown to visitors in regions that require it (including the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and applicable US states). This page would be updated to name the ad network, the consent manager and the specific data involved before any ad code ships.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and no data is knowingly collected from them.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
